Renaissance is one of the world's most recognised dance music brands, with an incredible track record of quality releases from some of the world's biggest superstar DJs, including John Digweed, Sasha, Dave Seaman and new hero Hernan Cattaneo. Having featured in the Top 10 of DJ mag's Top 100 DJs for the past 2 years, Hernan Cattaneo is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in dance music. He has played worldwide and headlined events such as Creamfields, UK and Homelands, Buenos Aires. Hernan Cattaneo has enjoyed a sparkling career littered with travel, affording this native South American a global vista.

It is this privileged view which he now draws upon to provide the inspiration for his return to the Renaissance fold with a project of his own conception: 'Sequential', a fitting development to the relationship, following on from his two acclaimed volumes of the prestigious 'Masters Series', the jewel in Renaissance's long-running, star-studded musical crown.

'Sequential' features Cattaneo and John Tonk's exclusive remix of the now classic Renaissance anthem 'Phonique' featuring Erland Oye, plus exclusive material from Tommyboy and Mannel and Rocco Mundo and Onno, all seamlessly woven between fresh cuts from the likes of Way Out West, Bushwacka!, Slam and Paolo Mojo, plus many more direct from his lauded record bag, such as the Luke Chable remix of Union Jack or his own edit of Nick Muir's 'I Feel Real'.

It's an impeccable selection, transcending genres with a sound that is truly unique, a heady combination of rolling basslines and ethereal breakdowns, as one of the most creative and influential new DJs is given the chance to cut loose.

With album photography provided by the much-vaunted John Ross, famed for his work with Kylie, Deep Dish and Manic Street Preachers, this series promises to be an all round sensory delight.
