Capturing Ireland's long history of bloody rebellions in song, this reissue is just in time for the widespread bicentennial celebrations of the Irish 1798 Risings. Includes some of the Clancys' most popular songs, such as "The Rising Of The Moon" and "The Foggy Dew", together with historical IRA fight songs and other songs of independence and victory.

The sound quality of this 1959 album is superb and the young Clancys are in top form. Includes guitar accompaniments by Jack Keenan and Irish harp by Jack Melady.
