'Preludes' features sixteen unreleased songs from Zevon's personal archives uncovered by his son, Jordan, and includes 6 never released songs plus 10 demos that were eventually re-recorded on his albums.

'Preludes' is a deluxe 2CD set in hardbound slipcase featuring 44-page booklet complete with never published family photos and excerpts for his forthcoming memoir. This set includes an unreleased version of the hit song "Werewolves of London", plus a second disc with nearly 40 minutes of interviews and music Zevon recorded with KGSR-FM's Jody Denberg.
