Now aged 70, the great saxophonist, Charles Lloyd is an essential element of ECM's success as a label over the last 40 years. He has performed with all the great Jazz artists of his generation and is a huge influence for many artists.

'Rabo de Nube' is an exciting set including the classic "Sweet Georgia Bright", originally recorded by Lloyd in 1964, plus new material - both uptempo and ballad-oriented - as well as the title track, a beautiful cover of Cuban singer-songwriter Silvio Rodríguez's tune.

This is a revamped Lloyd Quartet, now with young stars Jason Moran on piano and Reuben Rogers on bass - both making their ECM debuts here.
