Here is a "super-prog-group" made up from members of Dream Theater; Spock's Beard; Marillion; and last but certainly not least, The Flower Kings. Specially imported directly from out of America, 'SMPT:e' was Transatlantic's brilliant debut.

Transatlantic are a "super-prog-group" made up from the combined talents of Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater); Neal Morse (Spock's Beard); Pete Trewavas (Marillion); and last but certainly not least, Roine Stolt (The Flower Kings). Specially imported directly from out of America, 'SMPT:e' was the group's brilliant debut.

"Transatlantic features some of the greatest names in modern progressive rock, together in one band...

Coming off like an aural melding between Yes & King's X, 'SMPT:e' contains big swathes of luscious keyboards, vocal harmonies to die for and of course, the rhythm section (comprising Pete Trewavas & Mike Portney) is as sound as a pound.

The epic, opening cut "All of the Above" is reason enough to check out this early Millennium classic, but the other four compositions featured here are exceptional also, marking 'SMPT:e' as one of the most beautifully melodic & truly regal recordings that any of these esteemed musicians have ever partaken in."
