Scouting For Girls are a 3-piece group who have taken the UK music scene by storm in 2008. Their self-titled album reached #1, and spawned 3 Top 10 singles, including "She's So Lovely".

The London based indie pop trio named their band after a scout handbook, and chose to be piano-led because it was more suited to their whimsical song style. Their innocent overtones give Scouting for Girls oodles of charm, from their catchy single "She's So Lovely" (where lovely becomes a three syllable word), to the sweet opening of "The Airplane Song" ("She's a strawberry milkshake"), to the childhood fantasy of "James Bond" ("Since I was a boy I wanted to be like Roger Moore… kissing all the girls, blow the bad guys away").

Scouting for Girls handles adult themes (mostly dealing with being unlucky in love), with a type of whimsy and naivety which, rather than being gimmicky, comes across as honest assessment on how childhood friends Roy Stride, Greg Churchouse and Peter Ellard would rather live.
