Recorded in March 1987, the 'Second Sight' album from Marc Johnson's Bass Desires has now been re-issued on CD at this special price, and packaged in a stylish digipak cover - to coincide with ECM's 40th Anniversary.

Bass Desires evolved into a real group on this, its second showing, with all participants contributing material. Inspirational sources include soul, blues, country and pop as well as jazz, but the ensemble's instrumental interplay is more refined.

Recorded at Rainbow Studio, Oslo, Norway in March 1987.
