Marilyn Manson's anticipated reunion with longtime friend & foil Twiggy Ramirez is finally a reality in the form of this album, 'The High End of Low'.
Marilyn Manson's anticipated reunion with longtime friend & foil Twiggy Ramirez is finally a reality in the form of 'The High End of Low'. The new lineup on this album includes the aforementioned Twiggy (for the first time in close to a decade); keyboardist Chris Vrenna; and Ginger Fish on drums.
Produced by Manson, Chris & Twiggy and recorded in the singer's Hollywood Hills studio, 'The High End of Low' is dark & brooding just as we should expect. Manson says "I think my life definitely ended and began. The record sounds very final, but it's almost optimistic - though that feels like a strange word to use. It's a phoenix from the fire and a redemption resurrection."
With tracks like "I Want to Kill You Like They Do in the Movies" + "Arma...geddon" the new era of Manson is sure to ignite fans past, and reveal more brilliance of an artist behind some of the most enduring & genre-defying music in the rock era: "Lunchbox"; "Sweet Dreams"; "The Beautiful People"; "Tourniquet"; "The Dope Show"; "This is the New Shit"; "Mobscene"; "Heart-Shaped Glasses"; etc...
