Recorded at the same time as 'Scars', 'Zephyr' is a cracking album of downtempo music, cleverly put together by a duo at the top of their game.
Late in '09 the Jaxx duo released their critically acclaimed studio album, 'Scars' - a genuine "return to form", and heavy with cameos from Santigold, Grace Jones, Kelis, Sam Sparro, Cindi Lauper & even Yoko Ono. Here they are again, brandishing new music via their mini-album / EP. Well, it's kinda brand new: 'Zephyr' was recorded at the same time as 'Scars' but the tracks on 'Zephyr' are more downtempo ambience than dancefloor-filling big beat.
This is a cracking album of downtempo music, cleverly put together by a duo at the top of their game.
