Scottish band Frightened Rabbit present their highly anticipated album, 'The Winter of Mixed Drinks'. Produced by Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Spoon), the new recording follows the slow-burn classic The Midnight Organ Fight, which emerged as a critical favourite in 2008 & made numerous "best of" lists worldwide. The band have also been publicly lauded by fellow musicians, including Craig Finn (The Hold Steady), Nick Harmer (Death Cab For Cutie) & Simon Neil (Biffy Clyro).

A visceral and heartbreaking oeuvre, 'The Winter of Mixed Drinks' showcases a more fully realised Frightened Rabbit sound than before, and boasts stunning string arrangements. The album's led by the warm, rippling single "Swim Until You Can't See Land", which was recently hailed in NME's Top 50 Singles of 2009 - despite being released in December!
