Atwill is a bass player of considerable note, having appeared on more than 36 albums and jammed with some of the great names in music, such as Ray Charles, Dionne Warwick, Pat Metheny, Buddy Guy and Bo Diddley!

Some 5 years in the making, '3 Sides of the Same Coin' features exciting modern jazz, with a truly international flavour, having been recorded across 5 global locations: London, NZ, the USA, Germany and Australia.

A broad range of contemporary jazz musicians guest on the album, including Kim Paterson, Roger Manins, Chantelle Duncan, Tim Hopkins, Kevin Field, Ron Samson, Chris Winchcombe, Caitlin Smith and more.
