Brian Eno's brilliant 25th album sees him producing a collection of tracks that range from gentle piano pieces through to hypnotic, experimental electronic workouts.

Legendary composer and producer Brian Eno signed to the equally legendary label Warp Records in 2010 to release this disc, his brilliant 25th solo album which is entitled 'Small Craft on a Milk Sea'.

Working with Jon Hopkins and Leo Abrahams, this 15 track recording sees Brian producing a collection of tracks that range from gentle piano pieces through to hypnotic, experimental electronic workouts.

Always unfurling into the wider cultural sphere, the years since Brian's last solo album (2005's 'Another Day on Earth') have seen him constantly working in and beyond traditional recorded music. In late 2006 his generative audio and visual software project '77 Million Paintings' allowed the listener (and viewer) to experience music automatically created by the algorithms of the program alongside almost limitless combinations of accompanying video slides. In 2006, the 'My Life in the Bush of Ghosts' album with David Byrne was re-released and in 2008 this partnership was renewed for a second studio album in 'Everything That Happens Will Happen Today'. In 2009 Brian scored Peter Jackson's 'The Lovely Bones'. That year also saw the creation of the intensely popular and groundbreaking "Bloom" iPhone application. Developed by Brian and frequent collaborator Peter Chilvers, the program allows users to utilise a whimsical, inviting interface to manipulate their own musically and visually cascading tone poems.
