'Bad Machines' is the fourth solo album from Australian country singer / guitarist, Shane Nicholson.
A native of Brisbane, Nicholson first gained public attention with the rock band Pretty Violet Stain in the late 1990s. Since then he has released 3 solo albums. Shane had met Kasey Chambers when she sang some featured backing vocals on the lead single from 'It's a Movie', and in time the two would marry and go on to record the highly acclaimed, #1 album 'Rattlin' Bones', winning Best Country Album at the 2008 ARIA Awards, and scoring 5 Golden Guitar Awards in 2009.
