The Very Best of Morrissey (Limited Edition CD & DVD)

Through his time as front-man of The Smiths and subsequent enduring solo career, Morrissey has cemented his place as one of the true UK music icons. This position has ensured him a large, dedicated fan base and significant commercial success: to date he has notched up 33 Top-40 solo singles (with 10 in the Top 10) and 11 Top-10 solo albums. This lasting success has not been limited to his early career either, with his last three studio albums charting No. 2, No 1 and No 3 respectively.

'The Very Best of Morrissey' is a unique overview of the HMV/Parlophone years. As such, the album brings together hit singles "Suedehead" (UK No. 5), "Everyday Is Like Sunday" (UK No. 9), "The More You Ignore Me", "The Closer I Get" (UK No. 8), amongst others. Also included are b-sides "Girl Least Likely To", "Such A Little Thing Makes A Big Difference" and the previously unreleased solo version of "Interlude" (originally released in 1994 as a duet with Siouxsie Sioux).

Complementing the set is a bonus DVD, which includes eleven remastered promo videos (three of which are previously unavailable on DVD: "Boxers", "The More You Ignore Me", "The Closer I Get" and "Sunny") and the rarely seen (and previously unreleased) live performance of "I've Changed My Plea To Guilty" taken from the 'Tonight With Jonathan Ross Show', December 1990.
