For the first time, Allyson plays all the piano keyboard parts herself; she is joined by guitarist Rod Fleeman, Bob Sheppard on woodwinds, harmonicist Randy Weinstein, and bassist Ed Howard. The 11-song program includes the Bill Evans-Gene Less classic "Turn Out the Stars," Duke Ellington's "Sophisticated Lady," Charlie Chaplin's "Smile," "The Shadow of Your Smile" by Johnny Mandel and Paul Francis Webster, Stephen Sondheim's "Send in the Clowns," Paul Simons' "April Come She Will," and Gordon Jenkins' "Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most," as well as the closing title track by Thelonious Monk and Bernard Hanighen.
