Double vinyl issue. The young 5 piece Garage Rock, Goth Rock New Wave, Post Punk, Dark Pop band from Southend on Sea, England The Horrors make their eagerly awaited return with the release of their 3rd full length album Skying - the 10 track is released on XL Recordings.

Skying follows 2009's mercury prize nominated Primary Colours and their 2007 debut Strange House.

With influences ranging from Tears For Fears, Bowie, Placebo and Jesus Jones, There are moments of Kraut Rock, New Wave, Baggy Rock, 90s straight-up rock and Brit pop complete with The Horrors trademark1980s' synths, psychedelic samples, ominous bass riffs and lead singer Faris' melodious drone.

Skying was self-produced and recorded in The Horrors' own self built studio in London's Dalston and was mixed by Grammy award winner and analogue freak Craig Silvey (Arcade Fire, Portishead)

From garage-punks to national treasures in waiting, The Horrors' rise is remarkable and these black clad boys are back, easily surpassing expectations.

Skying is another huge stride forward for the band, cementing them as easily one of the best and most influential bands of today.
