Twenty years ago in Sheffield, Sweet Exorcist wrote 14 tracks so pioneering in their nature they came to influence two decades of dance music.
The foundation of the project comes from founding members Richard H.Kirk and Richard Barrett's passion and drive for their music, working under a myriad of guises, producing for the masses, working away with an ever evolving sound.
Why so innovative? Well, the package includes CCEP/ CCCD which is of course 'WARP1'.
RetroActivity comes as a double compilation including Testone, Clonk and the aforementioned CCEP/ CCCD. To mark the anniversary the 23 track compilation also includes five additional bonus tracks which are previously unreleased mixes and early versions. Two decades have since past and this compilation is a celebration, twenty years almost to the day since Warp's first ever artist album release.
