'A Flash Flood of Colour' ventures deeper into the diverse sonic universe that Enter Shikari have created for themselves over the course of previous albums, 2007's 'Take to the Skies' and 2009's 'Common Dreads', and the 1000+ live shows the band have played since forming as schoolboys in 2003.
Taking the seemingly disparate elements of punishing post-hardcore heaviosity, lush ambient soundcapery, ribcage-worrying dubsteppy sub-bass buffoonery and (dare we even whisper it?) pop melody, the band have finally arrived at a sound that can only really be described as 'Enter Shikari'.
