A Fear Factory box set that has to be seen to be believed...

Los Angeles cyber metallers Fear Factory present their ambitious conceptual album, 'The Industrialist', based around a story written by vocalist Burton C. Bell. Lyrics to the album's ten songs divulge the narrative...

"There is a main character who is called The Industrialist" states singer Burton C. Bell, referring to the character at the heart of songs like "God Eater" or "Virus of Faith". "He's a machine that has become self-aware and becomes a catalyst for change. 'The Industrialist' album has the loose concept of a murder plot, with the realization that the automaton is becoming more human each day. The last track on the album "Human Augmentation" is the moment where machine becomes human and realizes its own humanity. That's a thought that's very key to the Fear Factory universe."

'The Industrialist' again pairs Fear Factory with producer Rhys Fulber. Mixed by Greg Reely (Paradise Lost, Skinny Puppy, Machine Head), with additional tracking by Logan Mader (Gojira, Divine Heresy), the album is the second written by Bell and guitarist Dino Cazares since reuniting in 2009 after a seven-year split.
