The sound of 'Coxist' marks a continuation of what one critic described as "arrestingly melancholy". The Eno-meets-808, aural tone that is hardwired into introspection.

"Strangely exhilarating. The thrill is emotional and brave."
-Pitchfork

"Heart Stopping Stuff!"
- Mojo Magazine

"It Makes for an even more hero-worship-inspiring kind of WOW!"
-NME

'Coexist' is the hugely anticipated second studio album, by indie English pop group The XX. Their self titled debut album went platinum and won Britain's coveted Mercury Music prize, and accumulated 13 million sales worldwide. The band's music was used by NBC, Chanel and Rhianna. Their Producer and multi-instrumentalist Jamie Smith, worked with both Gil Scott Heron and Drake. Their audiences went from hundreds, to thousands, and then tens of thousands.

The sound of 'Coxist' marks a continuation of what one critic described as "arrestingly melancholy". The Eno-meets-808, aural tone that is hardwired into introspection. Smith has been listening, he said, to a lot more dark Chicago house music, an influence with shows in the heady thumps of his percussion. Where 'XX' lent closer to whisper in your ear, 'Coexist' gazes warmly into your eyes. Much has has happened to lead to this point, most pertinently - they have grown up.
