Thomas Coffey is a Christchurch based singer/songwriter who has been performing in and out of bands and releasing solo material since his late teens.
Back then his life, friends, and his musical training background at school, were the inspiration for his first early songs. Over the years these numbers would become well known in the amateur bar scene in Christchurch. This all culminated in 2005 with the release of Thomas' debut EP 'Tell Your Friends.'
Since then Thomas has continued to release music and gig regularly. To date he has made four music videos for selected 'Tell Your Friends' songs, performed in front of thousands of TV viewers at Super rugby fixtures, and has made several live radio appearances thanks to his contacts at More FM, Kiwi FM and Australia's 'Today' show.
Thomas' sound can be described as many things, but probably most aptly indie/folk/pop when in a heartfelt solo set or Rock 'n Roll if you're lucky enough to see him at full tilt with a full band.
