Frankie Vaughan was an all singing and dancing star of the '50s who's popularity was not affected by the arrival of Rock and Roll, and this set proves just why that was.

With all his '50s hits plus some B sides, new to CD tracks and even tracks unreleased in the UK.

Hits include 'Istanbul', 'Happy Days and Lonely Nights', 'Tweedle Dee' and 'Seventeen' plus his No. 2 hit 'Green Door' and No. 1 'The Garden of Eden'. Funnily enough 'Give Me the Moonlight' which was the song he was best known for and the one that became his trademark was never a big sales hit!
