Without a doubt Eddie Layton was a Hammond organ virtuoso and for many it was his work at baseball's landmark, Yankee Stadium - 'The House That Ruth Built' - where he was official organist for nearly four decades and was much loved by visitors.

This collection of four albums is a swinging, syncopated and sophisticated affair that insidiously insists your toes are set to tapping and your spinal cord is set to wiggling. - The electric organ didn't know it had so much promise until Eddie Layton came along and showed it!
