The leading light of Aotearoa Bass Music, Bulletproof, is back with his best work yet.

2010 saw Bulletproof take out the prestigious 'Best Electronica Album' at the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards with his third full-length album Soundtrack To Forever.

A year later, while riding the global meteoric rise of Dubstep, Bulletproof crossed his trademark "bass driven" sound over to the mainstream with his hit single 'Dub Me Crazy' - which subsequently went on to achieve gold sales in NZ. In the process, he once again found himself not only a finalist for 'Best Electronica Album', but also 'Best Male Solo Artist' at the 2012 VNZMA's - an accolade he had never dreamed of, coming from underground bass music culture. Now in 2013, Bulletproof is ready to deliver what he describes as his finest body of work to date.

"There's no pigeonhole for this album. There's no pigeonhole for my music. It's not genre specific, It's 130 to 140bpm bass music. Some parts are very deep, some parts are very lively, but the underlying vibe is one of funk, soul, jazz and just straight up depth of music". Jay Bulletproof explains.

The new album features solo works and collaborations with a massively diverse array of guests, including John Butler Trio, Pieter T, Dutty Ranks, MC Tali, Silva MC, Rugged Tekniques, Yayne, Jah Red Lion and remixes from Edgewoode, Perverse, Phoenix, Fire & Ice, Dan Aux and Eshone.
