Fade Away

Best Coast's new, seven-track mini-album Fade Away isn't so much an EP as it is a really lean full length album; and it's all the better for it. It's a Best Coast project through and through, which means the songwriting is catchy, if slight, and it's best suited for warmer weather.

If you live somewhere where that doesn't yet require a jersey from your wardrobe, play this really loud.

As the first release on singer/songwriter Bethany Cosentino's Jewel City label, it comes with a vague promise of finding balance between their previous two records.

Cosentino herself describes it as, "…kind of like if you took Crazy For You and The Only Place and created a baby out of them".
