This is the first release on their new label for this Iconic Australian rock band was recorded live at the Hordern Pavilion on April 18, 2012, and features 21 live recordings.
The Live Tapes Volume 1 is the first new live Cold Chisel release in over 10 years.
This particular show will be long remembered by those who endured the monsoonal thunderstorm which lit up Sydney just as the band electrified the Hordern Pavilion that night. The gig came just a few months after Cold Chisel had wrapped their unforgettable Light The Nitro Tour.
