Now + 4Eva

Long-running, consistently great Australian pop collective Architecture in Helsinki will release its fifth full-length, "NOW + 4EVA," through the band's own Casual Workout label.

The group's front man Cameron Bird tells Billboard that the veteran group finished recording "NOW + 4EVA," which is led by the indelible single "In The Future," nearly a year ago, after finding a winning formula with 2011's "Moment Bends." That was the first album without founding multi-instrumentalist James Cecil, and Bird says that it was their most well-received effort in their native Australia.

"The last record marked a real change in process for us, where we had consolidated our lineup and working method," says Bird. "We got much more deeply into the craft of making pop music and working on our production skills, and I think this record in many ways is an extension of that."

Architecture in Helsinki have premiered songs from "NOW + 4EVA," which was mixed by Gotye collaborator Francois Tetaz and Bjork collaborator Damian Taylor, on Stereogum and Paper.
