Initially released in October 2008, Microcastle is back on vinyl, this time along with Weird Era Cont. accompanying it. Weird Era Cont. was originally released as a bonus album previously unavailable on the format outside of the US.
Conceived as Deerhunter's 4AD debut, Microcastle received widespread praise internationally, with Pitchfork awarding it Best New Music and The Guardian heralding a remarkable band.
On double vinyl in a gatefold sleeve, the artwork now reflects the original CD cover, the album's most recognisable design.
