Tyson Smith is a Wellington-based guitarist/singer/songwriter. The Hollow Tree is his second album. Tyson can frequently be found performing as guitarist with a range of acts including Hollie Smith, and world music group Mundi, fronted by his sister Tamara.
"The Hollow Tree" is an album of twangy folk-rock featuring Rick Cranson (Little Bushman) on drums and Ed Zuccollo on moog synth. It was mixed by Lee Prebble at the Surgery, and mastered by Mike Gibson at Munki Mastering.
