This is an audiophile mastering re-issue and digital remaster for Born Sandy Devotional, the Australian band's seminal 1986 album. The original studio recording was transferred to tape to enable the creation of production masters through a fully analogue signal chain. It has been over ten years since there has been a repress of any kind of BSD vinyl.
Originally released in 1986, and reissued in 2006, it is now reissued again as an audiophile mastering re-issue. The Triffids, formed in their hometown Perth, Western Australia are - David McComb (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards): Rob McComb (violin, guitar): Alsy McDonald (drums, vocals): Martyn Casey (bass) and Jill Birt (keyboards, vocals). Long out of print and hotly anticipated, this is without doubt a classic Australian album.
