Timeline (LP)

Timeline is Artificial Intelligence's first album to be released on Metalheadz, and is their most accomplished project to date. The aesthetic of the album hints at an early soulfulness with dark moments peppered amongst its beauty. The palette of the project draws on classic Jungle era and goes as far back as Chicago house, but in its entirety it's much more than that, they are just some of the influences to be found on this expansive album that ticks many boxes. The pair that makes up Artificial Intelligence keeps with their forte on this album which is, light, feel good drum and bass often with guest vocalists driving it home. This helps keep it nostalgic to the original sound they captured back in acclaimed Desperado, but throughout the album the sound gets darker, tougher and weaponised with a modern day jungle influence.
