Last year, filmmaker Oliva Wyatt invited Bitchin Bajas to add incidental music to the climatic sounds of her feature-length experimental documentary on the nomadic Moken people, 'Sailing A Sinking Sea'.

'Sailing A Sinking Sea' is an experimental feature-length documentary, exploring the culture of the Moken people of Burma and Thailand. The Moken are a seafaring community and one of the smallest ethnic minority groups in Asia, traditionally spending eight months out of the year in thatch-roofed wooden boats.

The music the Bitchin Bajas created for this record captured the Moken's entire belief system, which revolves around water and the sea, with ease and perfection making you feel as if you were in a small hut in Thailand listening to the natives play after catching a large fish for dinner.
