Zager & Evans were the folk-rock duo Denny Zager and Rick Evans from the USA. They are famous for their 1969 single 'In The Year 2525', a prophetic warning that technology could take over from humanity in the centuries to come.

'In The Year 2525' reached #1 on both sides of the Atlantic in July 1969 in the aftermath of the hit films Planet Of The Apes and 2001: A Space Odyssey, at the same time Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. The single is one of the most popular in pop history and has been covered more than 60 times in seven different languages.

This 24-track CD includes the hit LP from the U.S., 2525 (Exordium And Terminus), and its follow-up album, Zager & Evans, released in 1970.
The four bonus tracks include the 'censored' version of the duo's controversial follow-up single 'Mr. Turnkey'.

In The Year 2525 includes an in-depth interview with songwriter Rick Evans.
