Here, Lucky Peterson focuses on his favorite instrument, the Hammond B-3 organ, and its warm sound which grew out of gospel songs and soul music hymns. To pay tribute to his mentor, Jimmy Smith, he has chosen to work with some real virtuosos, among which the gifted guitarist Kelyn Crapp particularly stands out.

Throughout this album, Lucky Peterson proves he has absorbed a long musical history anchored in blues, but very open-ended ; it contains the beat of jazz, the groove of rhythm 'n' blues and the energy of rock 'n' roll.
