Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist, and one half of electropop duo KNOWER (one of Snarky Puppy's favourite bands), Louis Cole lands on Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder label for his new album, Time.
Time features such luminaries as Cole's musical partner Genevieve Artadi, acclaimed jazz pianist Brad Mehldau and his friend Thundercat (with whom he worked on Drunk) contributing lead vocals on Tunnels in the Air.
Throughout the album, Cole pulls no punches when it comes to showcasing his considerable jazz chops. Time is a genius collection of tracks, overspilling with funky beats, hard truths, and just the right amount of snark.
Time is a funky work of misfit keyboard progressions and quirky lyrics that emanate the unique vibrancy of Cole's vision.
