Reihana Street

Evan recorded this collaboration with around 25 musician friends from NZ, Australia and New York over lockdown. He recorded the basic demos on iPhone Home Studio with his Taylor acoustic and guide vocals, then pitched them to different players.

They listened, drafted their feel and creativity, adding other players to build the song music beds for Evan to add his vocals. From the groove of "Inside Out", to the latin tinge of "Maybe", the smooth romance of "Secret Love", to the tribute to the legends called "It Ain't Over", Reihana Street is a raft of talent brought together through Evan's drive and musicianship. A work he is truly proud of.

P.S. The title Reihana Street is a nod to where Evan was born and raised in Orate/Okahu Bay, Auckland.
