Aurora (LP)

Daisy Jones & The Six are the fictional band at the centre of Taylor Jenkin Reid's 2019 blockbuster novel of the same name. In the book, the band create a 70s masterpiece titled 'Aurora', then they split up and never recorded again. It charts the history of a band that came together and broke up spectacularly at the height of their power.

Now Aurora is being released (alongside a five-part mini series starring Riley Keough, Sam Claflin and Suki Waterhouse) - fans have been dying to hear real music from this fictional band!

Singer-songwriter Blake Mills produced the band's 1970s-era debut which features songwriting contributions from Phoebe Bridgers, Jackson Browne and Marcus Mumford. He said "Creating the library of music for Daisy Jones & the Six was an experience I'll never forget. I am grateful that, among other things, it afforded me an opportunity to collaborate with so many of my peers, and also some of my heroes."

Taylor Jenkins Reid has said that listening to Fleetwood Mac as she grew up heavily inspired the narrative about a band's fame and fallout in 1977.
