The lords of the riff return! Green Lung's fourth album, Necropolitan, is a fierce, spellbinding tribute to occult London, overflowing with Sabbathian heaviness and wild Hammond-driven swagger.
Recorded live at the legendary Rockfield Studios alongside producer Tom Dalgety (Opeth, Ghost), Necropolitan sees the British occult metal masters reach stunning new heights of macabre storytelling. Fusing the massive, infectious hooks of This Heathen Land with uncompromising live rawness, this album strips away studio trickery to deliver pure, unadulterated sonic thunder.
From Sabbath-esque riffs and haunting Mellotron waves to wild Hammond organs, every track captures the crushing energy of the band's ferocious live show. Necropolitan is a monumental, darkness-soaked love letter to heavy music and London's darkest myths-a mandatory addition to any true head's collection.
