Put Rings On All My Fingers To Weigh Down My Hands (12")

London based duo Curbside Lambsear drop their debut EP "Put Rings On All My Fingers To Weigh Down My Hands".

Mödlinger and McLean met performing in The Umlauts and McLean is also a member of caroline. Curbside Lambsear is their outlet to explore rough textures and soft intentions, a space that combines the meticulous and the improvised.

Curbside Lambsear say, 'This EP came from experimentation and is composed of all the sounds we felt drawn towards while making music together, all the noise and melodies we came to be in agreement about, all that emerged while testing and probing what felt right. Some of it was found, some of it was built, some of it happened by accident while cycling down a narrow lane. Like the hands in the EP title, extremely adorned, weighing down on the keys of a keyboard, these songs are precious to us and needed to be spurred on by the mutual curiosity of what could be done if we started trying. We had a lot of fun making these songs and we hope you enjoy them.'

Rich in distorted bowed strings, heavily saturated drum beats, plenty discord, occasional harmony, and the kind of rain dappled aesthetic that aligns it with fellow Londoners like Bar Italia and the many faces of Dean Blunt.
