This is very cool New Zealand jazz! Based in Auckland, Alan Brown (keyboards) has been involved in the local jazz scene since 1991. He received the 1997 NZ "Jazz Album of the Year" award...

Based in Auckland, Alan Brown (keyboards) has been involved in the local jazz scene since 1991. He received the 1997 NZ "Jazz Album of the Year" award for 'No Free Lunch' and has performed with a diverse selection of artists over the years.

'About That Time' is an organ trio collaboration with Dixon Nacey (guitar), and Josh Sorenson (drums). Highly accessible, the album features a mixture of originals and three cover arrangements (Herbie Hancock's beautiful "Maiden Voyage", the Klezmer "Odessa Bulgar", and Bjork's "All is Full of Love").
