The "intelligent dance pop" album that Sia has been wanting to make for the best part of a decade is here!

Indie pop sensation Sia Furler returns with her highly anticipated fifth album, 'We Are Born'. With teaser single "You've Changed" already proving a major hit, people around the world have fallen in love with the Australian-born songstress turned global star and media personality.

The release of 'We Are Born' follows a massive 12 months for Sia, in which she staged two sell-out tours of Oz, had a smash hit here in NZ with the song Buttons, won an ARIA Award & performed all over the telly. On an international front, Sia has been co-writing songs with Christina Aguilera for the pop icon's new album.

In spite of how busy she's been, Sia has also managed to craft a bold pop record of unwavering consistency, depth, finish and pleasure. Produced by Greg Kurstin - the man behind recent albums from Lily Allen, Kesha, Britney Spears & Ladyhawke - 'We Are Born' is 14 dazzling songs, full of immediacy, stark power & driving rhythms.

Yet they sacrifice none of the raw emotionality that distinguished Sia's often more inward-leaning & languorous work, both with the cinematic UK duo Zero 7 and on her own previous recordings.

'We Are Born' references an eclectic cross section of artists from Blondie & Talking Heads to The Cure & The Pretenders. The album also features The Strokes' guitarist Nick Valensi.
