When youngest son Nathan writes a tell-all expose about the lives of his family members, nobody is happy. And when the book goes red-hot on the best-seller list, the timing couldn't be more hilariously awful!

Eldest son Jack (Michael C. Hall) is failing in his career and now has to bend over backwards to convince his wife that certain, ahem, salacious events in Nathan's book weren't really committed by him. Sister Cheri (Sarah Silverman) is a drama queen and struggling actress, and sees the film version of her brother's book being filmed from her window - and grows increasingly enraged watching a more successful actress play a horribly unflattering version of her. Meanwhile, black sheep Joel (Rainn Wilson) plots to turn his life around at his family's expense.

Over the course of 24 hours, this ragtag group of misfits will summon their courage to come together for the family dinner they'll never forget.
