In this delightfully surreal BBC comedy, Brian Hook is an archetypal dad, blissfully unaware of how easily he can drive his middle-aged son, Alan, to distraction and frustration. Alan, in turn, desperately wants to be a cool dad and communicate with his own teenage son, determined that he doesn't suffer the same childhood embarrassments. Inevitably Alan tries too hard and his attempts to communicate often end in disaster.

This release includes all six episodes from the second series, plus the 1999 Christmas Special and an exclusive Audio Commentary with George Cole and Kevin McNally.
