Kiwi group The Avengers exploded onto the scene with their debut single 'Everyone's Gonna Wonder' which was released in August 1967.
The groups unique sound propelled them into the local charts and the rest of the world soon took note.
'Everyone's Gonna Wonder' was released in the UK on Parlophone and Jubilee in the USA.
MGM Records (USA) offered an exclusive recording contract which the group turned down, after all they were barely known in their own country. The group spent the rest of the decade extensively touring New Zealand & Australia, leaving behind 8 singles and 3 albums. This compilation brings together all of their singles and the best of their album tracks, all released during a hectic 22 month recording career.
