In Brokenwood, an early morning mist will often give way to a glorious day. As far as towns go it's bucolic, pastoral yet curious. All-in-all, Brokenwood is a pretty nice place to live if you watch your back and sleep with one eye open.
It's a thriving community and diverse enough to always be throwing up surprises like the growing gay and lesbian community the amateur dramatic group - the covert drug manufacturers the refugees. This isn't a town with a clichéd, small town demographic. It's complex, colourful and lively.
