The seventh full length studio album from Foo Fighters' is a total blast - featuring killer songs such as "White Limo", "Bridge Burning" and "Walk".

Woooooooaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! 'Wasting Light', the seventh full-length studio album from Foo Fighters, is a total blast - just like the car in their "White Limo" video clip!

Produced by Butch Vig and mixed by Alan Moulder, 'Wasting Light' was recorded entirely on analog tape in the garage of Dave Grohl's home in California's San Fernando Valley. The no computers / no software back-to-basics approach has resulted in arguably the strongest and most cohesive effort of the band's 15-year-plus career.

From the frenetic opener "Bridge Burning" to the single "Rope" to the beautifully bipolar "These Days" to stunning guest spots from Bob Mould ("Dear Rosemary") and Krist Novoselic ("I Should Have Known"), 'Wasting Light' is a singular triumph. Oh, and this one marks the official return of Pat Smear, who rejoined Foo Fighters' touring lineup in 2006 but hasn't played on the band's studio albums since 1997. Exciting!

"Eleven tracks of fuzz-box brawn, mosh-pit-hurrah choruses and iron-horse momentum, 'Wasting Light' is the best Foos album since the first two..."
-ROLLING STONE

"Three-guitar riff bombs, like 'Bridge is Burning' and 'White Limo', brandish real heavy-metal muscle, while the insanely catchy 'Back and Forth' summons some of Nevermind's poisoned-pop frenzy."
-SPIN

"'Wasting Light' is a muscular rock & roll throwdown, featuring the Foos delivering exactly the kind of catchy, pummeling anthems they're known for..."
-ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY

"The 11-song set is an explosive, high-octane burst of rock energy from a 16-year-old band that is tightly honed and righteously raw."
-BILLBOARD

"The album sees the Foos return to their raw, real roots, with songs that largely hark back to grunge's early days and the scene they grew out of."
